I’ve Been Cooking, I’ve Been Cooking…
Ground Turkey Chili Edition
Hey Sugars! I’m back with another amazing meal, ground turkey chili made in a slow cooker. Today was such a breezy and nippy day that I thought a comforting bowl of slightly spicy chili would be a great idea! I made a short video showing the process and the ingredients, check out the video below along with a list of the ingredients and the slow cooker time and temp.
1 can kidney beans
1 can pinto beans
half of a yellow onion (diced)
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can of tomato sauce ( I have a large can in the video because my grocery store was out of 1oz cans, I only used half the large can)
half a green, red, and yellow pepper
some corn (however much you want)
2 diced/minced garlic cloves
salt, pepper, powdered garlic
2 tsp cumin
2 tbsp chili powder
a few jalapenos (to your liking)
brown ground turkey in pan, then combine all the ingredients in the slow cooker and cook for 3.5 – 4hrs and when preparing plate/bowl add shredded cheese, sour cream, scallions/green onions, and possibly jalapenos if you want a little more spice and enjoy.
